EU Gas Prices At One Year High

Highlights:

As of November 20, 2024 EU natural gas storage was 1,026.2 TWh. Gas storage was down 2.9% for the week and is down 8.8% versus last year. EU gas storage facilities are 89.4 percent full, compared with being 98.6 percent full this time last year.

EU natural gas prices traded at one year high this week, near €48/MWh ($14.8/MMBtu), bolstered by cold weather and Russian supply concerns.
