• April data from the Department of Energy highlights the slowdown in U.S. Ev sales, particularly battery electric vehicles, which grew less than 1% on a year-over-year basis

• Battery Electric Vehicle (BEV) sales were 93,598, down -7.7% vs last month and up 0.8% compared with last year

• Plug-in-Hybrid Electric Vehicle (PHEV) sales were 26,476, down -24.8% vs last month and up 9.6% compared with last year

• Hybrid Electric Vehicle (HEV) sales were 118,435, down -4.3% vs last month and up 17.8% compared with last year

• Electric Vehicle (EV) sales were 238,509, down -8.4% vs last month and up 9.6% compared with last year

• Internal Combustion Engine (ICE) sales were 1,075,003, down -9.2% vs last month and down -5.7% compared with last year

• Light-Duty Vehicle (LDV) sales were 1,313,512, down -9.1% vs last month and down -3.3% compared with last year
