Highlights:
The solar capacity and generation market continues to shine in the U.S.
U.S. L-48 solar generation in August was 22,168 GWHrs, down 0.3% versus last month and up 35.9% versus last year
Last 12-month U.S. utility-scale solar generation was 188.4 TWHrs versus 79.9 TWHrs of small-scale
LTM utility-scale solar generation is up 34%, with BTM higher by 19%
CAISO and ERCOT are running neck and neck on a year-to-date basis - we expect ERCOT utility-scale solar generation to be higher in 2024 for the first time
Total utility-scale solar capacity is currently 116,298 megawatts, with small-scale solar capacity at 50,506 megawatts
40,000 MW of additional planned capacity is in the current pipeline
