U.S. EV Sales Monthly

Highlights:

• EV sales data provided by the DOE/ANL for October is analyzed

• With two months left for 2024 data BEV sales are up 10.0% on a year-to-date basis, with HEV sales up 34.0% in a U.S. light duty vehicle market up 1.8%

• Battery Electric Vehicle (BEV) sales were 112,419, up 8.8% vs last month and up 24.2% compared with last year

• Plug-in-Hybrid Electric Vehicle (PHEV) sales were 20,380, up 6.2% vs last month and down -7.5% compared with last year

• Hybrid Electric Vehicle (HEV) sales were 145,838, up 14.4% vs last month and up 40.5% compared with last year

• Electric Vehicle (EV) sales were 278,637, up 11.4% vs last month and up 28.8% compared with last year

• Internal Combustion Engine (ICE) sales were 1,046,626, up 13.8% vs last month and up 7.1% compared with last year

• Light-Duty Vehicle (LDV) sales were 1,325,263, up 13.3% vs last month and up 11.0% compared with last year
