  • EnerWrap wrangles Department of Energy data on monthly EV and LDV sales, with data through March 2025

  • Battery Electric Vehicle (BEV) sales were 115,309, up 23.7% vs last month and up 23.4% compared with last year

  • Plug-in-Hybrid Electric Vehicle (PHEV) sales were 37,823, up 74.6% vs last month and up 7.5% compared with last year

  • Hybrid Electric Vehicle (HEV) sales were 193,419, up 31.7% vs last month and up 56.1% compared with last year

  • Electric Vehicle (EV) sales were 346,551, up 32.4% vs last month and up 37.2% compared with last year

  • Internal Combustion Engine (ICE) sales were 1,238,839, up 29.2% vs last month and up 4.6% compared with last year

  • Light-Duty Vehicle (LDV) sales were 1,585,390, up 29.9% vs last month and up 10.4% compared with last year
