U.S. Natural Gas Storage Weekly

Weekly Summary

U.S. Lower-48 natural gas inventories came in at 2,145 Bcf, higher by 104 Bcf on the week.  Lower-48 gas storage is -16.5% lower than last year and -0.7% lower than the five-year average.

Compared to last year, gas storage in the Pacific Region is 5.7% lower, and 13.9% above the five-year average.  Meanwhile, the Midwest Region is 23.1% lower than last year, and 7.0% below the five-year average.

Salt storage is -6.7% lower than last year and 1.0% higher than the five-year average.  Non-salt gas inventories are -19.3% lower than last year and -5.5% lower than the five-year average.
