U.S. Natural Gas Storage Weekly

Weekly Summary

U.S. Lower-48 natural gas inventories came in at 2,041 Bcf, higher by 107 Bcf on the week.  Lower-48 gas storage is -17.8% lower than last year and -1.8% lower than the five-year average.

Compared to last year, gas storage in the MountainWest Region is 4.4% lower, and 44.0% above the five-year average.  Meanwhile, the Midwest Region is 24.6% lower than last year, and 9.2% below the five-year average.

Salt storage is -10.5% lower than last year and -1.1% lower than the five-year average.  Non-salt gas inventories are -20.3% lower than last year and -5.9% lower than the five-year average.
