U.S. Natural Gas Storage Weekly

Weekly Summary

U.S. Lower-48 natural gas inventories came in at 3,052 Bcf, higher by 46 Bcf on the week.  Lower-48 gas storage is -4.9% lower than last year and 5.4% higher than the five-year average.

Compared to last year, gas storage in the Pacific Region is 2.1% higher, and 10.7% above the five-year average.  Meanwhile, the Midwest Region is 10.3% lower than last year, and 0.1% above the five-year average.

Salt storage is 5.3% higher than last year and 13.7% higher than the five-year average.  Non-salt gas inventories are -3.0% lower than last year and 5.0% higher than the five-year average.
