U.S. Natural Gas Storage Weekly

Weekly Summary

U.S. Lower-48 natural gas inventories came in at 3,937 Bcf, lower by 30 Bcf on the week.  Lower-48 gas storage is 5.9% higher than last year and 9.0% higher than the five-year average.

Compared to last year, gas storage in the MountainWest Region is 18.0% higher, and 35.2% above the five-year average.  Meanwhile, the Midwest Region is 3.0% higher than last year, and 6.5% above the five-year average.

Salt storage is 8.4% higher than last year and 8.3% higher than the five-year average.  Non-salt gas inventories are 6.0% higher than last year and 8.2% higher than the five-year average.
