U.S. Natural Gas Storage Weekly

Weekly Summary

U.S. Lower-48 natural gas inventories came in at 2,476 Bcf, higher by 101 Bcf on the week.  Lower-48 gas storage is -11.7% lower than last year and 1.7% higher than the five-year average.

Compared to last year, gas storage in the Pacific Region is 4.9% lower, and 9.6% above the five-year average.  Meanwhile, the Midwest Region is 18.2% lower than last year, and 4.1% below the five-year average.

Salt storage is 0.9% higher than last year and 7.2% higher than the five-year average.  Non-salt gas inventories are -13.8% lower than last year and -3.1% lower than the five-year average.
