Weekly Summary
U.S. Lower-48 natural gas inventories came in at 2,707 Bcf, higher by 109 Bcf on the week. Lower-48 gas storage is -9.0% lower than last year and 3.9% higher than the five-year average.
Compared to last year, gas storage in the Pacific Region is 3.6% lower, and 10.9% above the five-year average. Meanwhile, the Midwest Region is 14.6% lower than last year, and 1.4% below the five-year average.
Salt storage is 4.5% higher than last year and 11.9% higher than the five-year average. Non-salt gas inventories are -10.1% lower than last year and -0.7% lower than the five-year average.
