U.S. Natural Gas Storage Weekly

Weekly Summary

U.S. Lower-48 natural gas inventories came in at 3,123 Bcf, higher by 48 Bcf on the week.  Lower-48 gas storage is -3.9% lower than last year and 6.2% higher than the five-year average.

Compared to last year, gas storage in the Pacific Region is 5.6% higher, and 14.0% above the five-year average.  Meanwhile, the Midwest Region is 9.1% lower than last year, and 0.4% above the five-year average.

Salt storage is 2.9% higher than last year and 14.1% higher than the five-year average.  Non-salt gas inventories are -0.6% lower than last year and 7.0% higher than the five-year average.
