Weekly Summary
U.S. Lower-48 natural gas inventories came in at 2,802 Bcf, higher by 95 Bcf on the week. Lower-48 gas storage is -8.0% lower than last year and 4.3% higher than the five-year average.
Compared to last year, gas storage in the Pacific Region is 1.8% lower, and 10.6% above the five-year average. Meanwhile, the Midwest Region is 13.3% lower than last year, and 0.7% below the five-year average.
Salt storage is 3.9% higher than last year and 10.6% higher than the five-year average. Non-salt gas inventories are -8.4% lower than last year and 0.4% higher than the five-year average.
