U.S. Natural Gas Storage Weekly

Weekly Summary

U.S. Lower-48 natural gas inventories came in at 2,255 Bcf, higher by 110 Bcf on the week.  Lower-48 gas storage is -14.6% lower than last year and 0.5% higher than the five-year average.

Compared to last year, gas storage in the MountainWest Region is 5.6% lower, and 38.1% above the five-year average.  Meanwhile, the Midwest Region is 21.7% lower than last year, and 5.7% below the five-year average.

Salt storage is -1.6% lower than last year and 4.1% higher than the five-year average.  Non-salt gas inventories are -17.3% lower than last year and -4.5% lower than the five-year average.
