U.S. Natural Gas Storage Weekly

Weekly Summary

U.S. Lower-48 natural gas inventories came in at 3,785 Bcf, higher by 80 Bcf on the week.  Lower-48 gas storage is 2.3% higher than last year and 3.5% higher than the five-year average.

Compared to last year, gas storage in the MountainWest Region is 15.5% higher, and 30.0% above the five-year average.  Meanwhile, the East Region is 0.8% lower than last year, and 0.7% above the five-year average.

Salt storage is 5.0% higher than last year and 2.4% higher than the five-year average.  Non-salt gas inventories are 0.9% higher than last year and 0.9% higher than the five-year average.
