U.S. Natural Gas Storage Weekly

Weekly Summary

U.S. Lower-48 natural gas inventories came in at 1,830 Bcf, higher by 57 Bcf on the week.  Lower-48 gas storage is -19.8% lower than last year and -3.5% lower than the five-year average.

Compared to last year, gas storage in the MountainWest Region is 0.0% lower, and 50.5% above the five-year average.  Meanwhile, the Midwest Region is 27.1% lower than last year, and 12.6% below the five-year average.

Salt storage is -22.1% lower than last year and -9.2% lower than the five-year average.  Non-salt gas inventories are -22.0% lower than last year and -6.7% lower than the five-year average.
