U.S. Natural Gas Storage Weekly

Weekly Summary

U.S. Lower-48 natural gas inventories came in at 3,186 Bcf, higher by 56 Bcf on the week.  Lower-48 gas storage is -2.4% lower than last year and 5.9% higher than the five-year average.

Compared to last year, gas storage in the Pacific Region is 6.3% higher, and 14.8% above the five-year average.  Meanwhile, the Midwest Region is 8.4% lower than last year, and 0.7% below the five-year average.

Salt storage is 3.1% higher than last year and 11.6% higher than the five-year average.  Non-salt gas inventories are 2.4% higher than last year and 8.2% higher than the five-year average.
