U.S. Natural Gas Storage Weekly

Weekly Summary

U.S. Lower-48 natural gas inventories came in at 1,773 Bcf, higher by 66 Bcf on the week.  Lower-48 gas storage is -22.8% lower than last year and -4.8% lower than the five-year average.

Compared to last year, gas storage in the MountainWest Region is 0.6% lower, and 52.5% above the five-year average.  Meanwhile, the Midwest Region is 31.1% lower than last year, and 15.7% below the five-year average.

Salt storage is -25.9% lower than last year and -11.4% lower than the five-year average.  Non-salt gas inventories are -22.6% lower than last year and -6.0% lower than the five-year average.
