U.S. Natural Gas Storage Weekly

Weekly Summary

U.S. Lower-48 natural gas inventories came in at 2,571 Bcf, lower by 321 Bcf on the week.  Lower-48 gas storage is -3.3% lower than last year and -0.1% lower than the five-year average.

Compared to last year, gas storage in the MountainWest Region is 14.6% higher, and 42.5% above the five-year average.  Meanwhile, the Midwest Region is 9.1% lower than last year, and 5.4% below the five-year average.

Salt storage is -7.7% lower than last year and -14.4% lower than the five-year average.  Non-salt gas inventories are 0.0% higher than last year and 0.1% higher than the five-year average.
