U.S. Natural Gas Storage Weekly

Weekly Summary

U.S. Lower-48 natural gas inventories came in at 3,747 Bcf, lower by 190 Bcf on the week.  Lower-48 gas storage is 2.3% higher than last year and 6.3% higher than the five-year average.

Compared to last year, gas storage in the MountainWest Region is 16.0% higher, and 36.0% above the five-year average.  Meanwhile, the East Region is 0.1% lower than last year, and 1.5% above the five-year average.

Salt storage is 1.2% higher than last year and 1.9% higher than the five-year average.  Non-salt gas inventories are 3.2% higher than last year and 5.8% higher than the five-year average.
