U.S. Natural Gas Storage Weekly

Weekly Summary

U.S. Lower-48 natural gas inventories came in at 2,101 Bcf, lower by 196 Bcf on the week.  Lower-48 gas storage is -14.9% lower than last year and -0.8% lower than the five-year average.

Compared to last year, gas storage in the MountainWest Region is 5.2% higher, and 48.0% above the five-year average.  Meanwhile, the Midwest Region is 21.7% lower than last year, and 10.3% below the five-year average.

Salt storage is -23.0% lower than last year and -2.9% lower than the five-year average.  Non-salt gas inventories are -12.2% lower than last year and 0.3% higher than the five-year average.
