U.S. Natural Gas Storage Weekly

Weekly Summary

U.S. Lower-48 natural gas inventories came in at 3,622 Bcf, lower by 125 Bcf on the week.  Lower-48 gas storage is 1.3% higher than last year and 6.0% higher than the five-year average.

Compared to last year, gas storage in the MountainWest Region is 16.1% higher, and 38.2% above the five-year average.  Meanwhile, the East Region is 1.4% lower than last year, and 0.9% above the five-year average.

Salt storage is 2.1% higher than last year and 2.4% higher than the five-year average.  Non-salt gas inventories are 1.4% higher than last year and 5.1% higher than the five-year average.
