U.S. Natural Gas Storage Weekly

Weekly Summary

U.S. Lower-48 natural gas inventories came in at 3,932 Bcf, higher by 69 Bcf on the week.  Lower-48 gas storage is 4.2% higher than last year and 5.5% higher than the five-year average.

Compared to last year, gas storage in the MountainWest Region is 14.6% higher, and 29.0% above the five-year average.  Meanwhile, the East Region is 1.1% higher than last year, and 2.4% above the five-year average.

Salt storage is 8.9% higher than last year and 6.2% higher than the five-year average.  Non-salt gas inventories are 3.7% higher than last year and 3.9% higher than the five-year average.
