U.S. Natural Gas Storage Weekly

Weekly Summary

U.S. Lower-48 natural gas inventories came in at 3,705 Bcf, higher by 76 Bcf on the week.  Lower-48 gas storage is 2.2% higher than last year and 3.1% higher than the five-year average.

Compared to last year, gas storage in the MountainWest Region is 15.7% higher, and 29.6% above the five-year average.  Meanwhile, the East Region is 0.3% lower than last year, and 1.7% above the five-year average.

Salt storage is 2.8% higher than last year and -0.1% lower than the five-year average.  Non-salt gas inventories are 0.5% higher than last year and 0.1% higher than the five-year average.
