U.S. Natural Gas Storage Weekly

Weekly Summary

U.S. Lower-48 natural gas inventories came in at 3,199 Bcf, higher by 13 Bcf on the week.  Lower-48 gas storage is -3.0% lower than last year and 5.0% higher than the five-year average.

Compared to last year, gas storage in the Pacific Region is 4.5% higher, and 14.0% above the five-year average.  Meanwhile, the Midwest Region is 8.6% lower than last year, and 1.6% below the five-year average.

Salt storage is 0.7% higher than last year and 9.6% higher than the five-year average.  Non-salt gas inventories are 1.7% higher than last year and 8.0% higher than the five-year average.
