Weekly Summary
U.S. Lower-48 natural gas inventories came in at 3,833 Bcf, higher by 60 Bcf on the week. Lower-48 gas storage is 5.2% higher than last year and 6.5% higher than the five-year average.
Compared to last year, gas storage in the MountainWest Region is 23.1% higher, and 23.1% above the five-year average. Meanwhile, the SouthCentral Region is 0.8% higher than last year, and 6.6% above the five-year average.
Salt storage is 1.5% higher than last year and 6.5% higher than the five-year average. Non-salt gas inventories are 0.6% higher than last year and 6.6% higher than the five-year average.
