U.S. Weekly Natural Gas Storage

Weekly Summary

U.S. Lower-48 natural gas inventories came in at 3,387 Bcf, lower by 105 Bcf on the week.  Lower-48 gas storage is 0.8% higher than last year and 2.1% higher than the five-year average.

Compared to last year, gas storage in the MountainWest Region is 16.7% higher, and 31.1% above the five-year average.  Meanwhile, the Midwest Region is 1.2% lower than last year, and 0.6% below the five-year average.

Salt storage is 6.4% higher than last year and 4.6% higher than the five-year average.  Non-salt gas inventories are 1.3% higher than last year and 1.4% higher than the five-year average.
