U.S. Weekly Natural Gas Storage

Weekly Summary

U.S. Lower-48 natural gas inventories came in at 3,115 Bcf, lower by 258 Bcf on the week.  Lower-48 gas storage is -2.1% lower than last year and 5.5% higher than the five-year average.

Compared to last year, gas storage in the MountainWest Region is 15.4% higher, and 44.1% above the five-year average.  Meanwhile, the Midwest Region is 7.4% lower than last year, and 0.8% below the five-year average.

Salt storage is -1.8% lower than last year and 3.8% higher than the five-year average.  Non-salt gas inventories are -1.0% lower than last year and 4.8% higher than the five-year average.
