  • EnerWrap wrangles daily and monthly EIA data to provide a unique insight into U.S. wind power generation markets

  • Daily data used to calculate monthlies shows U.S. L-48 wind generation in September was 26,797 MWHrs, down -9.1% versus last month and down -4.8% versus last year

  • Last 12-month U.S. wind generation was 472.1 GWHrs, up 4.7%

  • Wind generation is up 5.6% year-to-date

  • Total wind capacity is currently 151,855 megawatts, with Texas at roughly 27% of U.S. capacity
