Highlights:

  • Daily data used to calculate monthlies shows U.S. L-48 wind generation in April was 46,064 MWHrs, down -5.8% versus last month and down -2.3% versus last year

  • Last 12-month U.S. wind generation was 501.6 GWHrs, up 9.2%

  • Wind power generation is up 10.1% YTD through late May

  • Total wind capacity is currently 156,417 megawatts

  • U.S. operating and planned wind capacity through 2030 is 183,701 MW
