US Natural Gas Storage Weekly

Weekly Summary

U.S. Lower-48 natural gas inventories came in at 2,535 Bcf, lower by 49 Bcf on the week.  Lower-48 gas storage is 11.9% higher than last year and 20.6% higher than the five-year average.

Compared to last year, gas storage in the Pacific Region is 82.0% higher, and 26.3% above the five-year average.  Meanwhile, the SouthCentral Region is 0.5% higher than last year, and 18.3% above the five-year average.

Salt storage is 3.4% higher than last year and 17.9% higher than the five-year average.  Non-salt gas inventories are -0.7% lower than last year and 18.4% higher than the five-year average.
