U.S. Natural Gas Storage Weekly

Weekly Summary

U.S. Lower-48 natural gas inventories came in at 3,334 Bcf, higher by 35 Bcf on the week.  Lower-48 gas storage is 7.0% higher than last year and 11.0% higher than the five-year average.

Compared to last year, gas storage in the MountainWest Region is 24.9% higher, and 40.1% above the five-year average.  Meanwhile, the East Region is 0.4% higher than last year, and 6.3% above the five-year average.

Salt storage is 9.2% higher than last year and 15.6% higher than the five-year average.  Non-salt gas inventories are 5.7% higher than last year and 9.3% higher than the five-year average.
