Weekly Summary
U.S. Lower-48 natural gas inventories came in at 2,563 Bcf, higher by 79 Bcf on the week. Lower-48 gas storage is 19.7% higher than last year and 29.6% higher than the five-year average.
Compared to last year, gas storage in the Pacific Region is 115.8% higher, and 30.0% above the five-year average. Meanwhile, the East Region is 7.6% higher than last year, and 24.4% above the five-year average.
Salt storage is 9.4% higher than last year and 14.0% higher than the five-year average. Non-salt gas inventories are 8.1% higher than last year and 28.0% higher than the five-year average.
