Weekly Summary

U.S. Lower-48 natural gas inventories came in at 2,374 Bcf, lower by 96 Bcf on the week.  Lower-48 gas storage is 12.3% higher than last year and 30.7% higher than the five-year average.

Compared to last year, gas storage in the Pacific Region is 119.2% higher, and 38.7% above the five-year average.  Meanwhile, the East Region is 0.4% higher than last year, and 15.9% above the five-year average.

Salt storage is 5.4% higher than last year and 38.6% higher than the five-year average.  Non-salt gas inventories are -0.2% lower than last year and 28.9% higher than the five-year average.
