U.S. Weekly Natural Gas Storage

Weekly Summary

U.S. Lower-48 natural gas inventories came in at 3,387 Bcf, higher by 40 Bcf on the week.  Lower-48 gas storage is 5.7% higher than last year and 7.9% higher than the five-year average.

Compared to last year, gas storage in the MountainWest Region is 21.3% higher, and 37.9% above the five-year average.  Meanwhile, the East Region is 0.6% higher than last year, and 3.8% above the five-year average.

Salt storage is 10.4% higher than last year and 11.4% higher than the five-year average.  Non-salt gas inventories are 3.9% higher than last year and 4.9% higher than the five-year average.
