U.S. Weekly Natural Gas Storage

Weekly Summary

U.S. Lower-48 natural gas inventories came in at 3,209 Bcf, higher by 10 Bcf on the week.  Lower-48 gas storage is 8.0% higher than last year and 16.0% higher than the five-year average.

Compared to last year, gas storage in the MountainWest Region is 33.3% higher, and 45.2% above the five-year average.  Meanwhile, the SouthCentral Region is 2.0% higher than last year, and 13.5% above the five-year average.

Salt storage is -0.9% lower than last year and 14.9% higher than the five-year average.  Non-salt gas inventories are 3.1% higher than last year and 12.9% higher than the five-year average.
