Weekly Summary
U.S. Lower-48 natural gas inventories came in at 2,795 Bcf, higher by 84 Bcf on the week. Lower-48 gas storage is 14.3% higher than last year and 23.0% higher than the five-year average.
Compared to last year, gas storage in the Pacific Region is 76.8% higher, and 20.8% above the five-year average. Meanwhile, the East Region is 3.1% higher than last year, and 20.6% above the five-year average.
Salt storage is 6.6% higher than last year and 10.9% higher than the five-year average. Non-salt gas inventories are 5.0% higher than last year and 20.5% higher than the five-year average.
