U.S. Weekly Natural Gas Storage

Weekly Summary

U.S. Lower-48 natural gas inventories came in at 3,270 Bcf, higher by 21 Bcf on the week.  Lower-48 gas storage is 7.9% higher than last year and 13.7% higher than the five-year average.

Compared to last year, gas storage in the MountainWest Region is 31.1% higher, and 42.9% above the five-year average.  Meanwhile, the East Region is 2.7% higher than last year, and 10.1% above the five-year average.

Salt storage is 5.6% higher than last year and 17.6% higher than the five-year average.  Non-salt gas inventories are 3.3% higher than last year and 10.7% higher than the five-year average.
