U.S. Weekly Natural Gas Storage

Weekly Summary

U.S. Lower-48 natural gas inventories came in at 3,299 Bcf, higher by 35 Bcf on the week.  Lower-48 gas storage is 7.0% higher than last year and 11.5% higher than the five-year average.

Compared to last year, gas storage in the MountainWest Region is 27.7% higher, and 41.1% above the five-year average.  Meanwhile, the East Region is 0.5% higher than last year, and 6.6% above the five-year average.

Salt storage is 7.7% higher than last year and 16.1% higher than the five-year average.  Non-salt gas inventories are 3.9% higher than last year and 9.3% higher than the five-year average.
