Weekly Summary

U.S. Lower-48 natural gas inventories came in at 2,334 Bcf, lower by 40 Bcf on the week.  Lower-48 gas storage is 15.0% higher than last year and 36.1% higher than the five-year average.

Compared to last year, gas storage in the Pacific Region is 170.4% higher, and 46.0% above the five-year average.  Meanwhile, the East Region is 1.4% higher than last year, and 19.1% above the five-year average.

Salt storage is 9.2% higher than last year and 49.7% higher than the five-year average.  Non-salt gas inventories are 0.0% higher than last year and 32.6% higher than the five-year average.
