Weekly Natural Gas Storage

Weekly Summary

U.S. Lower-48 natural gas inventories came in at 3,045 Bcf, higher by 71 Bcf on the week.  Lower-48 gas storage is 11.6% higher than last year and 19.9% higher than the five-year average.

Compared to last year, gas storage in the MountainWest Region is 46.5% higher, and 54.2% above the five-year average.  Meanwhile, the SouthCentral Region is 3.8% higher than last year, and 14.6% above the five-year average.

Salt storage is 2.1% higher than last year and 11.7% higher than the five-year average.  Non-salt gas inventories are 4.7% higher than last year and 15.8% higher than the five-year average.
