Weekly U.S. Gas Storage

Weekly Summary

U.S. Lower-48 natural gas inventories came in at 3,199 Bcf, higher by 65 Bcf on the week.  Lower-48 gas storage is 9.2% higher than last year and 17.3% higher than the five-year average.

Compared to last year, gas storage in the MountainWest Region is 36.1% higher, and 46.5% above the five-year average.  Meanwhile, the SouthCentral Region is 3.1% higher than last year, and 14.0% above the five-year average.

Salt storage is 1.2% higher than last year and 14.2% higher than the five-year average.  Non-salt gas inventories are 3.9% higher than last year and 13.9% higher than the five-year average.
