Weekly Summary
U.S. Lower-48 natural gas inventories came in at 2,470 Bcf, lower by 60 Bcf on the week. Lower-48 gas storage is 12.5% higher than last year and 27.9% higher than the five-year average.
Compared to last year, gas storage in the Pacific Region is 100.9% higher, and 32.3% above the five-year average. Meanwhile, the SouthCentral Region is 1.9% higher than last year, and 28.6% above the five-year average.
Salt storage is 6.1% higher than last year and 35.9% higher than the five-year average. Non-salt gas inventories are 0.3% higher than last year and 25.8% higher than the five-year average.
