Weekly Summary

U.S. Lower-48 natural gas inventories came in at 2,333 Bcf, higher by 50 Bcf on the week.  Lower-48 gas storage is 20.9% higher than last year and 33.4% higher than the five-year average.

Compared to last year, gas storage in the Pacific Region is 177.1% higher, and 42.0% above the five-year average.  Meanwhile, the East Region is 4.4% higher than last year, and 20.2% above the five-year average.

Salt storage is 12.8% higher than last year and 22.1% higher than the five-year average.  Non-salt gas inventories are 6.6% higher than last year and 33.0% higher than the five-year average.
