Weekly Summary
U.S. Lower-48 natural gas inventories came in at 2,484 Bcf, higher by 59 Bcf on the week. Lower-48 gas storage is 20.4% higher than last year and 31.4% higher than the five-year average.
Compared to last year, gas storage in the Pacific Region is 140.0% higher, and 34.8% above the five-year average. Meanwhile, the East Region is 3.7% higher than last year, and 23.7% above the five-year average.
Salt storage is 12.9% higher than last year and 17.2% higher than the five-year average. Non-salt gas inventories are 8.6% higher than last year and 29.9% higher than the five-year average.
