Weekly Summary

U.S. Lower-48 natural gas inventories came in at 2,974 Bcf, higher by 81 Bcf on the week.  Lower-48 gas storage is 12.9% higher than last year and 21.4% higher than the five-year average.

Compared to last year, gas storage in the Pacific Region is 56.8% higher, and 19.3% above the five-year average.  Meanwhile, the SouthCentral Region is 4.9% higher than last year, and 15.6% above the five-year average.

Salt storage is 3.7% higher than last year and 12.3% higher than the five-year average.  Non-salt gas inventories are 5.4% higher than last year and 17.0% higher than the five-year average.
