Weekly U.S, Natural Gas Storage

Weekly Summary

U.S. Lower-48 natural gas inventories came in at 3,249 Bcf, higher by 40 Bcf on the week.  Lower-48 gas storage is 8.8% higher than last year and 16.1% higher than the five-year average.

Compared to last year, gas storage in the MountainWest Region is 33.9% higher, and 45.6% above the five-year average.  Meanwhile, the SouthCentral Region is 2.9% higher than last year, and 13.0% above the five-year average.

Salt storage is 3.4% higher than last year and 18.2% higher than the five-year average.  Non-salt gas inventories are 2.7% higher than last year and 11.8% higher than the five-year average.
