Weekly Summary
U.S. Lower-48 natural gas inventories came in at 2,893 Bcf, higher by 98 Bcf on the week. Lower-48 gas storage is 13.5% higher than last year and 22.0% higher than the five-year average.
Compared to last year, gas storage in the Pacific Region is 66.5% higher, and 17.8% above the five-year average. Meanwhile, the East Region is 4.2% higher than last year, and 21.0% above the five-year average.
Salt storage is 3.4% higher than last year and 11.1% higher than the five-year average. Non-salt gas inventories are 5.6% higher than last year and 19.1% higher than the five-year average.
