Weekly Summary
U.S. Lower-48 natural gas inventories came in at 3,336 Bcf, lower by 140 Bcf on the week. Lower-48 gas storage is 15.0% higher than last year and 13.6% higher than the five-year average.
Compared to last year, gas storage in the Pacific Region is 71.9% higher, and 28.1% above the five-year average. Meanwhile, the East Region is 8.1% higher than last year, and 8.4% above the five-year average.
Salt storage is 12.5% higher than last year and 5.4% higher than the five-year average. Non-salt gas inventories are 7.3% higher than last year and 13.6% higher than the five-year average.
