Weekly U.S. Natural Gas Storage

Weekly Summary

U.S. Lower-48 natural gas inventories came in at 3,264 Bcf, lower by 06 Bcf on the week.  Lower-48 gas storage is 6.5% higher than last year and 11.9% higher than the five-year average.

Compared to last year, gas storage in the MountainWest Region is 28.7% higher, and 41.6% above the five-year average.  Meanwhile, the East Region is 0.8% higher than last year, and 8.1% above the five-year average.

Salt storage is 5.1% higher than last year and 15.2% higher than the five-year average.  Non-salt gas inventories are 2.2% higher than last year and 8.7% higher than the five-year average.
